Is the price really the same at renewal?
Yes. Monthly or annual, your renewal invoice matches the price you ordered at. If we change list prices for new customers, your existing plan keeps its price until you change plans.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes, every plan is available month-to-month with no setup fee. Annual billing saves about 15%.
What control panel do you use?
DirectAdmin. It does everything cPanel does for a small business site — domains, email, databases, SSL, backups, file manager, PHP version selector — with a cleaner interface and without the licence cost cPanel adds to every account.
Will you move my site from my current host?
Yes, free. From cPanel hosts we import a full backup (files, databases, email, SSL). From other hosts we migrate WordPress and static sites by hand; large or unusual setups we’ll quote.
Where are the servers?
OVHcloud’s Beauharnois datacenter near Montréal, Canada, on 1 Gbps unmetered connectivity. It’s well connected to the US west coast (~70 ms from Los Angeles) and east coast (~20 ms from New York). We run one production node today and will add a second as we grow.
Do I need to change my nameservers?
No. Keep DNS wherever it is (your registrar, Cloudflare) and point an A record at the IP in your welcome email. We don’t run branded nameservers yet.
Is email included?
Yes: mailboxes, IMAP/SMTP with TLS, webmail, spam filtering, and SPF/DKIM set up for your domain. Outbound is limited to 200 messages per hour per account to protect deliverability for everyone; newsletters belong on a dedicated email service.
How do backups work?
Every account is backed up nightly and kept for 7 days on the server, mirrored to the hypervisor’s ZFS storage, and pulled off-site. You can restore your own account from DirectAdmin or ask us. We still recommend keeping your own copies of anything irreplaceable.
Which PHP versions and what about WordPress?
PHP 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 (default) and 8.4, selectable per site. WordPress installs in one click from the panel or we’ll install it for you. Business and Pro plans suit multiple WordPress sites; Starter is sized for one.
What’s your uptime guarantee?
We target 99.9% monthly and publish a live status page. If we miss it for reasons within our control, you can claim a credit (10% of the month below 99.9%, 50% below 99%). We don’t offer a financially-backed 99.99% SLA yet and won’t pretend to.
Can I get a refund?
Within 30 days of a new order, yes, in full for hosting fees. After that, cancellations take effect at the end of the paid period. Details in the Refund Policy.
